It was after her mum’s suggestion, Rita started her first yoga class in 2000. Rita considers herself blessed to have studied with many great yoga teachers including Richard Jan Anderson, Maurice Mettler, Will Lau and Lawrence Pradhan while in Hong Kong. She has furthered her training and practice with Lianne Metcalf since she moved to Melbourne in 2010. Lianne inspired Rita to start her yoga teachers’ training and Rita became enthralled with the philosophy of yoga as a way of life.
During the last decade and a half, Rita has attended many training and workshops with world renowned yoga masters : David Life, Sharon Gannon, Ana Forrest, Sri Dharma Mittra, Desiree Rumbaugh, Andrey Lappa, Simon Borg Olivier, Seane Corn, Sarah Powers.
Students always comment how much fun Rita's classes are. She loves to create a space of exploration and potential transformation for all her students and advocates that no class will ever be the same as the next.
Rita truly believes NO BREATH, NO YOGA -- the motto of her beloved teacher Richard Jan Anderson. Her motto? – WORK HARD, PLAY HARD, EAT HARD and YOGA HARD!!

Determined to find an alternative to pain management, Tristan kind of fell into Yoga. After sustaining several injuries whilst serving in the Australian Army, and the consequential surgeries that followed, Tristan would not accept that pain medication was his only option. He stumbled on a Yin Yoga class by mistake, it was from that moment that he was hooked.
Practicing regularly, Tristan’s quality of life began to improved immensely. From initially attending Yoga to increase his physical range of movement, what he received was the mental release, which was more profound than he ever imagined.
He is a certified Yoga teacher and has studied in various places such as the Himalayan Yoga institute in Nepal, Canada with Bernie Clark, The USA with Paul and Suzee Grilley and he is also the first coalition Veteran to study at VETOGA in the USA.
Tristan has a deep passion and appreciation for Yin Yoga, along with Yoga Nidra and Meditation. He believes when you take your attention away from the aesthetics of the pose and pay attention to the target areas and skeletal variations amongst the students, you can then modify all poses to accommodate every students physical ability. Tristan is the founder of Blind Tiger Yoga; a not for profit venture providing Yoga classes to Veterans and First Responders www.blindtigeryoga.com.au

Vic began her Yoga journey 14 years ago when she started attending regular Hatha Yoga classes. With a scientific background Vic enjoyed the anatomical principles of the asanas (physical postures), however the sense of wellbeing and deeper connection between mind, body and spirit discovered through Yoga prompted Vic to take her practice to the next step, studying for the Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching.
Vic creates a warm friendly environment with classes focusing on developing strength, flexibility and greater mindfulness through correct alignment. Vic’s classes encompass vinyasas (flowing sequences), static asanas (postures), which help to uncover inner stillness and pranayama (breathing practices) enabling students to feel both energized and relaxed with a greater sense of peace of mind.
Vic also feels passionate about enabling children to experience the gift of yoga, completing an Advanced Course in Children’s Yoga and drawing on her Youth Work and Health Promotion background she creates fun and creative classes enabling children to feel healthy, strong and happy in their own bodies and minds.
